Eventually, I am a not philosopher and even not economist
It is possible after all said to recommend reviewed book for teaching marxism? And not in which time. Author and writes: "Eventually, I am a not philosopher and even not economist. Everybody must write about what understands" (p. 8). Can understand marxism, understanding neither philosophy nor in an economy? Marxism has three source and three component part, in the number of which dialectical materialism and political economy, and without that, in them to understand, become a marxist it is impossible.
Here such waning, capturing neither a marxist political economy nor dialectics political grief-scientists and politicians led to the collapse of great power.
True, at socialism of Kagarlitskiy was not at power, but "in an underground". Yes, alike, so in a theoretical underground and remained. But times came, when being not a philosopher and not understanding philosophy, it is possible to do the philosophical best sellers, that to make money, joining, leaning against, sticking to marxism popularity of which grows appropriately.
If to talk the words of Lenin, then "with the studies of Marksa takes place now that not once worldly-wise in history with the studies of revolutionary thinkers and leaders of the oppressed classes in their fight for liberation. Oppressing classes in the time of life paid great revolutionaries by him by permanent pursuits, met their studies the most wild spite, maddest hatred, most reckless hike of lie and slander. After their death attempts to convert them into harmless icons are done, so to say, to canonize them, give the known glory of their name for the "comfort" of the oppressed classes and for fooling them, castrating maintenance of revolutionary studies, dulling his revolutionary edge, vulgarizing him. On such treatment of marxism bourgeoisie and opportunists meet now into working motion. Forget, rub, distort the revolutionary side of studies, his revolutionary soul. Pull out on the first plans, glorify that acceptable or that seems acceptable to bourgeoisie" (V.I. Lenin. Poln., т. 33, p. 5).
Built into a capitalism, the author of the criticized book reasons. that nothing unfair "is, when pay a top-manager for easy labour in the office of money in hundreds of one times more than to the worker, to standing at a machine-tool or on a wellsite" (p. 20). And here Kagarlitskiy "modestly" declares on a page 113. that "to beginning of 1980th the new generation of marxists, to which belong Alexander Taras, Alexander Buzgalin, Andrey Kolganov and, certainly, author of these lines, appears". No, respected, not certainly. About such, as Kagarlitskiy, K. Marks talked that if it is marxists, then I am a not marxist. And to the new generation of revisionists and Boris Kagarlitskiy can take itself boldly.
In one of announcements of book “Guided democracy” it was promised that an author (Boris Kagarlitskiy) examines political history of Russia “from marxist positions”. A similar analysis interested me already a long ago, and I purchased this book.
Foremost, an author built a picture that took place from 1917 years to our time in our country (basic attention is spared the period of 1985-2005). It is possible to accede to him or disagree, but it is difficult to doubt in logic and slenderness of his look. An author selects those processes, the result of action of which was become by restoration of 1991-1993; describes and analyses important political events 1993-2005 years and does some conclusions about further development of our country.
Stylistically a book is written with a modern language (unlike majority of the left press).
On the whole, “Guided democracy” deserves reading, although some proofs, to my mind, unsuffice.
